Oby is a social entrepreneur, writer, actor, thespian and Strategic Health Communication professional. He has worked in programs with Adolescent Youth and Young Women, Sex Workers, PLWHIV, PWID, and MSM. He has developed and implemented training programs for vulnerable populations in many parts of teh world. He has developed strategies for using Theatre and Drama for mental healing and re-centring. He has a passion for communication and community mobilization. Oby has been involved in University education at several Universities in the East African region and has published in several peer-reviewed Communication journals. He is an untrained yet practising ecologist interested in re-wilding and greening. He runs KajokÓby Destination an arboretum where indigenous trees are planted to recover lost species. He has been involved in the facilitation of training and Behaviour Change Communication. He is a father, grandfather and family head.
